A boost for Lands End to John O’Groats

I had set myself the challenge of completing Lands End to John O’Groats over 10 days in the summer of 2019 and knew that I would need help to train for this mammoth task. I therefore asked Bee to be my coach and I started training with her in the winter of 2018. With Bee’s guidance and support I embarked on a training plan which built my strength and stamina on the bike and my confidence in my ability. I found the regular phone calls with Bee a real boost and she reassured me that I was on the right track. Every month I received a comprehensive training plan which was a mixture of structured rides, turbo training and strength work. The training plans were tailored to my individual needs and this was no easy task as I work shifts which change each month. Bee really took in to account the long and varied shifts I work and used all this knowledge to ensure I could still make the most of my training.  I know that training with Bee really helped me not only achieve my goal but enjoy  to the experience and to be proud of myself.
